DIRECTIONS TO BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA
FROM RT. 1 SOUTH (If you are coming from New
Brunswick/Edison area)
Go past South Brunswick Township water tank on left and McDonal on right. Next traffic
light is New Road. Turn right on to New Road (by Red Roof Inn) go to next traffic light
(Exxon on left corner) turn right on to Rt. 27. Bharat Sevashram Sangha is second house on
right.
FROM RT. 1 NORTH (If you are coming from Princeton/Trenton area)
Turn Jug-handle left to New Road (Exxon on left). Go to next light (Rt. 27. Another Exxon
on left) turn right at this light. Bharath Sevashram Sangha is 2nd house on right. (About
200 feet from New Road)
FROM NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE
Take Exit 9 (New Brunswick). After light bear right to Rt. 18 North (Follow signs for New
Brunswick) Go few 100 yards and follow signs for Rt. 1 South (Princeton/Trenton). Once on
Rt. 1 South follow directions for Rt. 1 South above.
FROM INTERSTATE 295 NORTH (From Cherry Hill/ Delaware Memorial Bridge area
Take exit 67A to Rt. 1 North (Princeton/New Brunswick). Follow direction for Rt. 1 North
above.
FROM INTERSTATE 95 NORTH (From Philadelphia/Bucks County/PA Turnpike etc.)
Take interstate 95 North which ends in Ewing, NJ and becomes 295 South. Continue on 295
South. Take exit 67A to Rt. 1 North (Princeton/ New Brunswick). Then follow direction for
RT. 1 North above.
FROM RT. 287 (From Morristown/Boonton area or close to Rt. 78 or Rt. 80)
Rt. 287 South to Exit 10 and follow signs to New Brunswick/Easton Avenue. Turn
right on to Cedar Grove lane (2nd traffic light between Amoco gas station and drug fair).
Go to end (3rd traffic light, Mobile gas station on left corner) turn left on to Amwell
Road (Rt. 514) go about ½ mile road curve a little by the church. Turn right on to South
Middlebush Road (By the church few hundreds yards before the next light on 514). Once on
middlebush Road go to the 2nd traffic light (5-6 miles) turn right on to Rt. 27 (Edwards
shopping center on right corner). Go about ½ mile Bharat Sevashram Sangha will be on left
immediately after the second entrance of the apartment complex (about 200 ft. from New
Road traffic light).
From Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, NY
(Interstate 278 (BQE) or Belt Parkway to Verazona bridge to Staten Island to Rt. 440 to
outer bridge crossing. Few miles after the bridge Rt. 440 becomes 287 North continue on
Rt. 287 and take Rt. 1 South and follow direction to Rt. 1 South above.
From Holland Tunnel
Take 1-9 then take Pulaski skyway (you are on 1-9 South) stay on 1-9 South until you come
to Rt. 1 South. drive for about 15-20 Min, on Rt. 1 South until you come to New Road
(follow directions from Rt. 1 South above).
By Bus & Train
Suburban Transit operates bus service line 100, between Port Authority in New York, gate #
420 and Princeton – Palmer Square. The bus takes Route 27. Get down at New Road and
walk a short distance. For information about the schedule and fare, please call

Direct train service is not available. Take the Suburban Transit bus going to
Princeton-Palmer Square from New Brunswick Train Station. Get down at New Road and walk a
short distance.
