Reformation of Holy Places &
Pilgrim Services
From the time immemorial, the holy places of India have been the sources of spiritual
inspiration and religious enthusiasm. However, extortion, torture and cheating by a section
of so called agents of Pandas, negligence in performing the religions rites have been the
common experience of the pilgrims. In 1924, the great Ahcharya introduced the program for
Tirtha-Sanskar (reformation) to create healthy and comfortable atmosphere by means of a
series of welfare activities. Services rendered include accommodation, proper guidance for
darshana (viewing), easy and smooth performance of rituals, proper distribution of
prasadam, and organizing appropriate cultural and religious programs to create an
atmosphere of high spirituality.
