AN APPEAL
Dear Devotees,
As you all know, for the last 3 years we have been working vigorously
with our engineering company and architect on our proposed temple and
cultural center plan for the New Jersey chapter of the Sangha. After
many reviews with the South Brunswick Township planning board, a hearing
was schedule in January. With the completion of three hearings,
we are
delighted to let you know that the Use Variance and Temple Site Plan
were unanimously approved by the South Brunswick Board members on March
1, 2007.
Your continuous support and love has helped us to achieve this goal. It
is time for us to join hands together and build this beautiful Ashram
which will be a place where our children can come and learn the great
Hindu culture and Philosophy. And we all can enjoy the spirituality and
divinity of our religious festivals and much more.
As you all know that the present facility is limited and cannot
accommodate the growing devotees. Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a
tradinational Hindu monastic organization established in 1917 (over100
years). It was founded by Yugacharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj
who was a great spiritual leader of modern India. He was revered for his
message of universal love, nationalist zeal and social reform. As we
seen, his teachings became a reality. His dedicated monks travel
throughout the world and establish centers where our Hindu brothers and
sisters can come with their families and continue to cultivate the
ancient Hindu teachings.
We are kindly appealing to each and every-one of you to come forward and
help us to construct this Temple and cultural center. It will be a place
for all of you and we assure you that the monks and devotees of Bharat
Sevashram Sangha, New Jersey will serve you and your children
dedicatedly.
For more information on this project please call the Ashram at
732-422-8880, our monks will be happy to answer all of your questions.
P.S. all donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be issued to
you for any donations. Checks can be made payable to: Bharat Sevashram
Sangha and mail to the above address.
Sincerely yours,
Swami Amarnathanand
