How to download multiple files from Google Drive on iPhone
When using Google Drive on your iPhone, you often encounter situations where you need to download multiple files at once. However, individual selection is cumbersome and time-consuming. Do not worry! There are easy ways to download multiple files at once from Google Drive on iPhone.
1. Use the in-app download feature:
Single file download:

Download multiple files:
Press and hold the files you want to download.

2. Download folder:
Using a web browser:
Access Google Drive from your PC or iPhone web browser.
Right-click or press and hold the folder you want to download.
When you select “Download” from the menu, all files in the folder will be downloaded in compressed ZIP file format.
Compress and download files:
In the iPhone app, open the folder you want to download.
Tap the Show More icon (three dots) in the top right corner of the screen.
Select “Share” from the menu and select “Zip to share.”
Select a compression format and select “Create Link”.
If you open the created link in a browser on another device and download, all files in the folder will be downloaded in compressed ZIP file format.
3. How to use the app:
Documents by Readdle:
Install the Documents by Readdle app.
Select “Google Drive” in the app and log in.
Select the folder you want to download and select “Edit”.
When the selection area appears, tap to select additional files.
Click the “More” button and select “Download” to save all selected files to your device.
File Manager & Browser:
Install the File Manager & Browser app.
Select “Google Drive” in the app and log in.
Select the folder you want to download and select “Copy”.
Go to the desired location on your device and select “Paste” to download all files in the folder.
caution:
If the file you are trying to download is larger than your device’s storage space, downloading may not be possible.
Downloading using a mobile network may incur data charges. We recommend using a Wi-Fi connection.

Tips:
Filter files: Easily find the files you want to download by entering “file type” or “file name” in the search bar.
